Both the Epic Nano and the Epic Pure are strong at removing heavy metals like lead from tap water. From our published testing the Epic Pure removes at least 99.94% lead and the Epic Nano removes 99.4% of lead from tap water. We also had our filters tested in Flint and surrounding Genessee County in Michigan and the results showed that we removed heavy metals & other contaminants to undetectable levels.
